I am a contemporary aquamedia and mixed media painter with a studio attached to my home. I have worked as a professional artist for 30 years and my work has been featured in the Arizona Republic. Early in my career, I worked as a commercial artist for several ad agencies in Tucson, and later transitioned to a free-lance graphic
designer, while trying to balance the time demands of starting a family. I later transitioned into mural art, faux finishing, and Trompe l’ oeil – with an ever-expanding client base that kept me working on wall art for more than a decade. Finally, with my children entering adulthood, I made a full time commitment to studio work, with my canvases being purchased by both commercial and private clients. More recently, the last 3 years, I have started creating patterns from all of my sketches with the help of Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Combining my previous work with new ideas and imagination has helped me make so many exciting patterns!
